❝Where my confident comes from, you ask? My entire body, of course.❞

CHARMING and confident, Helvetica is very popular in New Sieg. His mannerisms are calm and composed, his voice gentle; which contributes to his popularity with women. He's been on interviews several times, either for his clinic or his medical research (I really live with super cool people . . .). Despite giving people ratings based on their look, making him seemingly shallow and superficial, he actually finds beauty in people's mental qualities, as in things that cannot be seen by the eye.ONCE you get to really know him, however, Helvetica is very blunt and a tease. He doesn't mind speaking out his thoughts out without sugarcoating it, and in line with that, he appreciates people who are honest to themselves. That being said, he seems to mask his true intentions a lot, as to not draw attention to him (and he's good at it too). One example being on Teuta's surprise party, when asked about his contribution to the gift we gave her, he simply said he was the one paying; while he was the one giving detailed instructions to what we should get. In line to that, he claims to only do things in his interest, and that he won't do something if he doesn't like to, but really, he's one of the most loyal person I know. His inquisitive nature and his strong sense of justice often leads him to risky situations, all so he could gain something to his interest (which, often times, has something to do with helping other people). He has proven to be protective of the group. He doesn't hesitate to do anything for his friends, even if it means putting his life in jeopardy. Truly, he's a ride-or-die buddy.

❝I know everything will always be okay in the end. I just know it.❞

WHILE he seems to be a realist, Helvetica surprisingly sees life from a rather optimistic point of view. I think it's admirable that he has that attitude, after everything he has gone through. He's not very good at expressing his own feelings, however; he would rather deflect when asked or straight up jokes about it. The reason being his dislike of being vulnerable and/or not in control of the situation. It surprised me when he told us everything about his past, the moment he remembered it. Not only did that tell us how big his desire to keep living is, he must have trusted us that much . . .HE thinks that 90% of a first impression is based on looks, which is why people do whatever it takes to get the appearance they desire; he finds that desire in itself beautiful. He believes that you can be reborn by changing the appearance you were born with. This, however, does not mean he will accept just about anyone's request of a plastic surgery. Aside from the medical requirements, if Helvetica deems his patient as being mentally unfit for the surgery, he would refuse them.

BORN Nicola Ritz, Helvetica was abandoned by his parents and came to the US by a boat as an undocumented immigrant. He lived in a container full of people. Each day, more and more people were smuggled and stuffed into the container. By the time they reached the country, many had died from the lack of space and oxygen. Those who survived were bound together by that fact; they became partners, a bond that cannot be broken, even by betrayal.

❝I grit my teeth, held back the tears, and glared at the sky. All so that my face wouldn't look pitiful when someone found my dead body.❞

AS a kid living in the slums, Helvetica joined a gang; together, they sold drugs, mugged people, and burglarized the houses of the rich. One night, when he was around 14-15, he and the gang ransacked a house; one that was filled with drugs and alcohol. While everyone got drunk and high, a cigar set off a fire. When the house caught fire, everyone ran away except one person. Helvetica said to call 911, but everyone else was more concerned with their own safety; as if the police came, they'd all be arrested. They wanted to let the fire burn their tracks, so they turned their backs on the straggler. Helvetica, however, resisted; and everyone turned on him next. His face was beaten out of shape to kill him and make him unidentifiable. Abandoned once more, he was buried under a pile of trash in an alley, disfigured and dying. Fortunately, a passer-by that was later identified as Sauli Orsted, one of the leading surgeons in United States, found him and picked him up.PROFESSOR SAULI would then become Helvetica's legal guardian. He assisted Helvetica in rehabilitation as his doctor in charge. During his rehabilitation, there were multiple occasions where Helvetica came very close to dying, as he'd rather kill himself than stops using drugs, but he prevailed. With Professor Sauli's help, giving Helvetica a new name and effectively a second chance at life, he transformed into the person we know. Today, Helvetica is clean; although he suffers from memory loss. According to Professor Sauli, his lack of memories is partly due to the drugs, and partly due to an innate human defense mechanism.

It's us! The Fixers, the defender of justice! Helvetica acts as the information gatherer and con artist of the group.

Left is Professor Sauli. Like father like son, they said. They're as close as you'd expect from a dad and his child. According to Professor Sauli, the name Helvetica was only given to him because it was convenient while he treated him, but Helvetica ended up liking his name so much that they kept it.
